What does a Youthful Yoga class involve?

Check out our "classes" page for specific class descriptions. A typical class includes mindfulness techniques, music and movement, games, breathing techniques, and savasana. We want to teach kids tools for stress relief in a unique and healthy way for their mind and body. Our kid’s yoga classes are playful, silly, active, and fun!

How do I sign up for a class?

Visit our "classes" page or event page and click register, or contact us by email at  youthfulyogatampa@gmail.com to set something up.

What ages do you teach?

We teach youthful yogis between the ages of 3 to 18.            

What do I need to bring?

We provide mats and all other supplies, but we suggest you bring a water bottle. We encourage students to use their own mat (if they have one)!

Where do Youthful Yoga classes take place?

We travel to you! We teach at schools, homes, parks and studios! Be sure to check out the "events" page for current group offerings in the area. We mostly teach in South Tampa, but can travel further for an additional cost.

Are you cleared to teach/work in schools?

Yes, both Megan and Kara have background checks/fingerprints through the Diocese of St. Petersburg & Hillsborough County Public Schools. 

Do you teach children with special needs?

Yep, we sure do! Megan is certified in Exceptional Student Education with an extensive background in working (therapy, counseling and yoga) with special needs children/teens.
